Basketball and mud

There's nothing more fun than playing basketball in your driveway...actually I take that back. Watching your kids play basketball in the driveway might be even better than playing yourself. Paul finished putting up the hoop today, and Dominick had a blast! He is a natural, I have to say. Check out that follow-through. We'll have to get him a Jr. sized basketball so he can get the idea, but he had so much fun today shooting at the 7 foot hoop with his little rubber ball. That is until Jack got the rebound and popped a hole in it. The kids sat on the stone wall and watched a game of 1:1 between mommy and daddy. First game score: mommy 5, daddy 3. Second game: daddy 9, mommy 5. I can still beat him from the perimeter. He definitely can take me on the inside though. We can't wait to get some games going up here. As for the picture of the princess...she was climbing the "mountain" out back, slipped and fell into a whole lot of mud. We hosed her down after that. She continued to play basketball with a soaking wet dress. Didn't bother her one bit. It's going to be a fun summer!
